This is the date that we all wait for...the date that determines when we can travel to China.
Our appointment was at 8:30 so we ate an early 6am breakfast and attempted a picture on the bridge in the garden. Thanks to the random Brazilian man who took our pic.

No pictures are allowed in the Consulate so all you get is my description of what happens... Basically a bunch of adoptive families take an oath together, then they call you up one-by-one ask a few questions, and you leave. The entire process took about two hours, mostly of just waiting. The boys waited as patiently as an 18 month old and a three year old can wait.
After the appointment, we went to Shamain Island to take pictures. This is where most adoptive families stayed before the popular hotel was closed for renovation. It is also where lots of families go to shop but since we decided y'all had probably had your fill of Chinese stuff, we didn't have much shopping to do. So, we took pics...and here they are...

O and Baba went to the pool. I stayed behind and helped Brother calm down from the ride...he hates to ride in anything that moves...may be a fun plane ride.
