Feb 19

So, F has his surgery and has done wonderful...as easy, peasy as your child having surgery can be. Feb. 19 is day 10 and according to our surgeon is often the most painful day. That also means only 20 more days of soft diet and arm splints! Yippee!

Apparently being on a restricted diet is motivation to sign. F started signing "eat" yesterday and is practicing a lot!

Feb. 19 is also the biggest holiday of the year in China. The weekend before F's surgery I really didn't want to think about it or pack. What better way to procrastinate than pictures. Off we went to the park with their Chinese silks.

And this is what we ended up with...

This is how the photo part of our day ended...

The boys played for a little while until this random stranger walked up and asked to take our family picture...from behind...at the railroad track...wearing bicycle helmets. At least it was with my phone.  Probably the most random pic I have ever been in. Anyway, that inspired a few more pics...

which was a bad idea...

 and then we made cookies...

Feb 19, 2015 will also be 13 years since my brother left this earth to meet his Heavenly Father. I still miss him daily but am oh so thankful for the 18 years we had together.

And sticking with the funny pics...Don't I look happy...

Love the pictures! Especially love the old family picture. Lee looks adorable in the picture! It's funny that Lee was cooperating and you weren't!
