Medical Update

We met with the surgeon Thursday. There is still a small hole in O's lip. They are testing O for a bacteria that may have caused the sutures to breakdown early. They have seen the bacteria in one palate repair. He has never had a lip repair do this so it's worth a shot. It feels a little unusual to hope our child has a bacteria, but that is where we are! If it is the bacteria, they will treat it and we shouldn't have this trouble in the future. 

The plan now is palate repair in January with a complete lip repair a few months later.
